Russian stats service says raises GDP estimate for Jan–Jun to 1.7%

MOSCOW, Sep 10 (PRIME) -- The Federal State Statistics Service has raised the estimate of Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in January–June to 1.7% from 1.6% and for April–June to 1.9% from 1.8%, the service said in a statement on Monday.

In absolute terms, the Russian GDP amounted to 24.847 trillion rubles in current prices in April–June.

The central bank earlier lowered the GDP rise estimate for July–September to 1.3–1.7% and kept the 2018 one at 1.5–2.0%.
